We begin our Cenacle of Prayer on Tuesday evening, April 17 at 6:00 PM in Church and are continuing every Tuesday evening.
Everyone is invited to attend and spend some time with Our Mother.
“Cenacle” is a word for the upper room where Jesus’ Apostles gathered together In prayer with His Mother Mary and the Holy Spirit powerfully descended upon them. It was during this original Pentecost that the Catholic Church was born. Two thousand years later, Our Lady renews the call to gather together with her in a Cenacle of Prayer In anticipation of the Holy Spirit.
On May 8 1972 while praying At the Chapel of the Apparitions At Fatima, the Mother of God impressed upon Father Stefano Gobbi her desire that he start the Marian Movement of Priests. Father Gobbi was born on March 22 1930 in Dongo Como Italy. He was a member of the Company of St. Paul, suffered a heart attack last year and was called home on June 29 2011 In Milan Italy. This Movement has spread throughout the world and continues to grow.
The Cenacle must include a certain format:
1) Invocation to the Holy Spirit
2) Recitation of the Rosary
3) Prayers for Our Holy Father
4) Reading and Meditation from Our Lady’s messages
5) Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
This is the work that Our Lady is carrying out:
1) To bring the message of Fatima to its fulfillment for a spirituals renewal of the Church and all humanity
2) To form her faithful remnant
3) To conquer Satan
4) To spread the truth and to bring us to a greater unity with the Pope and the Church united to him
